Healthy Habits: Simple ways to nurture your relationship

Every person has multiple relationships in their life that can use a little boost of energy, however your relationship with your intimate partner needs constant attention and mindfulness in order to flourish. Here are some simple ways to nurture your relationship and create a more loving environment for you and your partner. 

 

 

  1. Quality Time: It’s important to make time to enjoy each other without life's distractions. Whether it is a 30-minute breakfast before work or a date night on a Saturday, make an effort to set aside time to enjoy each other.

  2. Physical Intimacy: Touch is healing. Sometimes just a five-minute massage or a hug can go a long way.

  3. Listen: Be a safe place for your partner to express their thoughts and feelings. Sometimes all you need to do is listen.

  4. Acts of Kindness: Leave a love note, call to say “I love you” just because, turn on the shower and set out a towel, or do any simple action that shows you were thinking of your partner.
